“Our brand new home at Huntington is three times the size of our last apartment. Plus, it comes with resort-style amenities, a close-knit community and more room for my dog, Georgie!”
When the pandemic came around, Faustine and her boyfriend were living in a 700-square-foot apartment in Belmont. As young professionals in the Bay Area, their idea of the perfect home shifted with their new work-from-home status.
“I was always taking calls either in the bedroom or the kitchen table. Neither one of us really had a dedicated workspace.”
Since they’d grown accustomed to the conveniences of the Bay Area, having easy access to shops and the freeway was an absolute must. Faustine wanted something with that urban vibe that also felt safe, where she could feel confident going on walks with just her and her pup in the evenings. Boulevard was the perfect mix—and she could get so much more space to call her own and modern amenities included in the whole package.
“It’s an awesome location close to grocery stores and all the go-to places I frequent, whether it’s Whole Foods, the farmers’ market in Downtown Pleasanton or the Livermore wineries.”
When Faustine isn’t painting the town, she’s getting back to nature. Out and under the sun is her favorite place to be, and that means hiking the trails in San Ramon and Danville, swimming laps at The Rec Center, taking a discovery-rich stroll through the community with her dog, who is also an avid sun soaker. Faustine does her yoga out on the balcony off the master bedroom, where Georgie has a dog mat next to her just for sunbathing.
“I’m definitely a California girl, and the sun makes me feel happy! All of the natural sunlight that shines into the house brings some extra warmth into my life and boosts my mood.”
That’s not all Faustine loves about her brand new home at Huntington. She and her boyfriend now both have their own office spaces for work-from-home ease. And their modern kitchen adds a taste of luxury to their favorite air fryer–made shrimp, chicken and dumplings. From workflow to yoga flow—Faustine has found a place where her life comes into perfect balance.
“I love that I have a place that feels like home, where I can curl up with my pup, meditate and listen to my podcasts but also walk to The Rec Center for my daily swimming exercise. Now that I’ve found my flow, I’m looking forward to more social activities to meet my neighbors and create the close-knit community Boulevard is meant to be.”
