“There have been so many opportunities to meet our new neighbors, and it’s great having a space where we can host and celebrate with new friends.”
Jackie and Sid are definitely social types. Having get-togethers with friends is a weekly occurrence. But it wasn’t always easy to play host in a small one-bedroom apartment in San Francisco. Plus, as a young couple expecting a baby boy, they wanted a place where they could both start their family and take their social gatherings to the next level.
“We were ready to go for the family setup – something bigger. And this was the perfect place to start the next chapter in our lives.”
It was Boulevard’s location that really stood out to Sid and Jackie – centralized in the Bay Area with easy access to BART and major freeways. Plus, it’s an easy walk to Persimmon Place and Jackie’s office half a mile away. They’ve been loving the opportunity to explore an area that’s new to them and find their favorite local spots to get in a foodie fix.
“There are so many great restaurants nearby and lots of variety. The community feels more suburban, but with a good urban mix having so much near home.”
When Sid and Jackie are not out on the town with friends, they’re hosting get-togethers in their new home at Huntington. “The open-concept space is the best, and the high ceilings on the main floor make it feel bigger and more inviting.” And all the public spaces coming to Boulevard, such as The Kitchen neighborhood park, will only give them more places to gather, grill and share conversation.
Of course, they’ve got their own hobbies to keep them busy when they aren’t entertaining. Sid frequents the basketball court while Jackie likes pedaling down the Iron Horse Trail. But there’s nothing more comforting than sitting back together with a home-cooked meal by Jackie to catch up on their shows. “It’s been a great experience so far – with the whole community, our home and the neighbors. We’re looking forward to starting our family here and having a lot to explore with our son.”
