Let’s be honest—there’s no summer quite like one in The New American Backyard. Because the City of Dublin brings together the best ways to have fun, and living at Boulevard places you front and center. So what sort of activities does a summer in Dublin, California, have for you?

Our Comm(unity)

Are you ready to show your Dublin pride? Because we sure are! To commemorate 40 years of cityhood, you’re invited to a limited-time, historical exhibit detailing Dublin’s journey to becoming the city you know and love. To learn more about the place you’re proud to call home, stop by the Murray Schoolhouse Museum at Dublin Heritage Park. Check out the hours.

Dublin’s Farmer’s Market is back at Emerald Glen Community Park! And that means your pick of farm-to-table goodness is available every Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. From refreshing smoothies and fresh-as-can-be fruits that take you on a tropical vacation in one bite to wholesome, earthy flavors that keep you grounded—you can indulge in treats from crowd favorites like JC’s Holey Donuts and Hummus Heaven as well as a host of new vendors.

After all those farmers’ market delicacies, take some time to unwind amongst neighbors and friends-like-family as massive, colorful kites take to the skies—to the delight of children AND adults. And at the end of the day, walk off all that food truck fare along Emerald Glen’s variety of tree-lined walking trails. All in all, you’re looking at a Thursday well spent—and it’s all within your reach, simply because you call Boulevard home.

Music is in the air—and it’s coming from Dublin’s Summer Concert Series! These free events—to be held Thursday evenings from June 16 to August 4 at the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater—will feature the musical stylings of a variety of genres. From an all-female take on Led Zeppelin—we see you, Zepparella—to Bay Area native Night Train for some rocking dance party tunes. So get familiar with the lineup and stop by between 6pm and 8pm for toe-tapping beats you just can’t help bopping along to.

On the Waterfront

It isn’t California dreamin’ unless it involves waterside chillin’—and Lake Del Valle is the perfect spot for some fun in the sun. Ideal for picnicking, horseback riding and boating—there’s so much to do around here when “outdoorsy” is the name of the game.

And of course, no summertime activity guide is complete without mention of Boulevard’s oh-so-awesome amenities—which you’ve got a front-row seat to as a happy homeowner at this exceptional community. Treat yourself to your best life by having a little lounge at one of our poolside cabanas before jumping into that cool, inviting water. Or why not grab your favorite read for a little me-time under the Californian sun at one of Boulevard’s many uniquely themed pocket parks? That’s what open-air gathering spaces like The Office, The Lounge and The Hangout are all about.

The New American Backyard
