Kylie and Safi envisioned a future in a place where they could have the best of all worlds: a home that offered the benefits of big-city living, an easy commute to work and endless entertainment options for the family that they wanted to start. They loved their apartment in the vibrant Marina District of San Francisco with its walkable nightlife and eclectic neighborhood, but they knew it wasn’t their forever.

With big changes on their minds, the pair was fortunate enough to live with Kylie’s parents for two years while they saved enough money to buy a home for the family they were excited to start. Their new home search included other new developments in Dublin, but the vision they had for their future wasn’t realized until they found Boulevard.

“We wanted realistically to land in the East Bay between Livermore and Alamo, but what I loved about the Boulevard was its proximity to BART. I wanted to save myself from an even longer commute and trying to find parking near work in the morning.”

The location was what really made Boulevard stand out from the rest. Kylie and Safi like to get their steps in, so having their go-to shops within walking distance at Persimmon Place makes all the difference. They even end their long workdays by getting outside, taking a stroll to The Park and enjoying the fresh air with their two-year-old daughter and pup, Biscuit.

“I truly think there isn’t a better location! We’re central to everything, whether it’s the freeway to see friends and family in neighboring cities or shopping, restaurants, doctors’ offices and more. Plus, it’s wonderful to be so close to so many things to get some exercise.”

This picture-perfect family is also making the most of all the amenities offered within Boulevard, whether it’s grilling corn and chicken wings on the BBQ at The Kitchen or chilling out in the resort-style pool at The Rec Center. When they’re not cooking at the neighborhood park, they’re spending time in their own culinary corner at home.

“The kitchen is where we spend a lot of time—as well as our living room. We’ve removed our dining table altogether to allow more space for our daughter to play, and now our home feels more like a modern loft.”

Kylie and Safi love to support the local businesses by ordering out from their go-to restaurants, but they also know there’s nothing like a homemade meal. Whether they’re cooking up burgers, pasta or a new dish from their Every Plate delivery, it’s what makes their downtime at home that much more memorable.

“We like to read to our daughter and snuggle up with Biscuit when we’re relaxing in the living room. Plus, it’s fantastic that we can open our slider to our balcony to let the breeze in or see the sunset reflecting on the windows of our neighbors’ houses.”

And these parents are getting all the relaxation they can before they soon become a family of four. They’ve already upgraded their townhome at Madison to a single-family home at Mulholland for more space for their growing family.

“We’re looking forward to bring our new addition home—and we’re beyond excited that Boulevard is the place we get to bring him home to.”
