“We weren’t sure homeownership in the Bay Area would be possible for us. And now our home—our little corner of the world—in Boulevard is quite literally a dream come true.”

Manal and Arif were longtime renters in the Bay Area—from Oakland to Pleasanton. While they were living in Pleasanton, they fell in love with the Tri-Valley area and knew it was where they eventually wanted to lay down their roots. That’s when Boulevard would occasionally pop up along their driving routes. Until one rainy day, a spontaneous detour brought them through the community.

“We were really just curious—we had no intention of becoming homeowners. When we stopped in front of the model homes for Skyline, we figured we’d tour to pick up some décor ideas.”

Once they explored the designer-furnished models, Manal was head-over-heels for Boulevard. After a year, the neighborhood they toured still held a special place in her heart—and the couple decided it was time to drop the rent and become homeowners. And adopting their rescue cat, Kona, has made their brand new home feel even more perfect. This little kitty has even become somewhat of a neighborhood celebrity.

“Kona has so much space to explore, and she just loves sunning on the deck. So many of our neighbors have said they love seeing her chilling outside. She’s really living her best life!”

The home may be cat-approved, but Manal and Arif are also loving their incredible space. The smart home automation from Lennar’s Everything’s Included® package has been a game changer with easy control of their lights and more. Plus, getting all the groceries in the house in one trip has never been easier with their attached garage, which is something they’ve never had before.

“This thoughtfully crafted home has made our lives super convenient. And we also can’t get enough of the incredible design. The natural light streaming in from our oversized windows over the staircase is one of our favorite features.”

When they’re not basking in the convenience of their home, they’re enjoying all the quality time—whether it’s spent together or nurturing their own hobbies. Manal loves to read, make baked goods for her neighbors and edit photos from her “photowalks” around the community. Their home has enough space for Arif to have his own private studio for writing and producing his own musical passion project, Black Desert Rift. But some of their favorite moments have been playing Scrabble together, cooking traditional Pakistani dishes and recreating meals from restaurants they’ve enjoyed.

“We love venturing into San Francisco and Oakland to try out local eateries—and Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek for alfresco strolls. Having a BART station within walking distance has been incredible—easy for both commuting and outings.”

The all-around convenience of the community has been truly unmatched for this thriving couple. It’s close walking distance from Persimmon Place excursions, and the Iron Horse Trail is the perfect start for their biking dreams they hope to fulfill once they have the wheels for it. Even the amenities within Boulevard have been above and beyond—from the state-of-the-art fitness center and heated pool at The Rec Center to relaxing hammocks at The Hangout.

“Boulevard is the perfect blend of a happening suburb and the convenience of everything you need. We’re looking forward to exploring more in and around the community—and we’re positive that you won’t find a more dynamic place to be part of!”
